We are returning to the south coast for Nursing in Practice in Southampton on 23 May 2024, where expert speakers will share their knowledge and help you to upskill.

Practice nurses, community nurses, health visitors, school nurses, care home nurses and any qualified nurses in a primary/community setting can now book tickets for our nursing event in Southampton.

  • We know a lot about risk of type 1 diabetes in children. 
  • Children with two or more islet autoantibodies in their blood before the age of 5 years have an 83% risk of developing autoimmune diabetes by the age of 20 years. 
  • However, we know very little about the natural history of type 1 diabetes in adults 
  • This presentation will focus on the aims of the T1DRA study.
