Cindy Chacha- Mannie

My background is Primary Health Care.  I have worked in Namibia, South Africa and the UK in the past 20 years.  I have seen a lot of changes within the health care system however I have also identified areas where more can be done towards prevention of ill-health and promotion of health, however these opportunities are not well utilised.  I have an interest in bringing Public Health into Primary Health Care to promote good health and prevent ill-health and preventable Long Term Conditions with a major interest in obesity, smoking, alcohol intake, sexual health and mental health.

I do like reading, sharing ideas and networking.  I love music and should really have gone into that career than nursing but I am trying to contribute in my field.
