Dr Priya Reddy is a GP partner in Bridlington, East Yorkshire and the Clinical Director for Bridlington Primary Care Network (PCN). She is also the CVD and Cancer lead for the PCN. She qualified in 1998 and holds a postgraduate qualification in Medical Law and Ethics in addition to MRCP and MRCGP. She has a special interest in Heart failure and Public Health. She worked as a Clinical Lead for various Public Health projects in North Lincolnshire for 7 years. Priya has experience of conducting research and supervising various public health projects which vary from social marketing campaigns to health needs assessments for long term conditions. Priya has worked closely with practices in Bridlington to improve heart failure registers by a process of code cleansing. She has also actively promoted education of primary care clinicians in the management of heart failure She has been instrumental in working with secondary care to set up MDT clinics for heart failure in Bridlington. Priya is passionate about working across practices to reduce health inequalities, enhance care of patients with learning disabilities and improve cancer detection rates locally.
