Biography

Nana Owusu (RMN, BA, BSC, PGdip) is an award-winning Mental Health Nurse, leader, innovator, and visionary with over 20 years of clinical and senior management experience. Currently the Director & Clinical Lead for Children and Young Peoples Services at MIND (HFEH), Nana set up two of the first Trailblazer MHST’s commissioned in the UK. She also spearheaded West London’s first young people’s Crisis Prevention Cafe ‘CIRCLE’, funded by West London Trust.

Passionate about improving outcomes for young people and reducing health inequalities, Nana is a registered Clinical Nurse Specialist and Therapist. She actively volunteers and serves as a board member for the youth homeless charity New Horizon Youth Centre,  and Mental Health lead for MGUK Foundation.
