Kerys currently works as part of the Community Heart Failure Team with her own caseload. Kerys has established virtual heart failure MDTs and education sessions for Primary Care Clinicians and developed potassium management clinics for patients with heart failure, ensuring optimization of their heart failure treatments and better access to specialist medicines. Kerys is currently leading on the development of a Heart Failure Annual Review Service and Rapid Optimisation Clinic.
She was awarded a RCBC First into Research Fellowship in 2018 which allowed her to develop a feasibility study investigating how biochemical monitoring might be used to monitor the cardiovascular safety of clozapine.
