June Roberts is an independent consultant nurse with significant expertise in respiratory medicine and integrated care. June led in the set-up of a COVID virtual ward during the pandemic. June was part of the Salford Lung Study, the first global prospective real-world study in asthma and COPD. She is published widely including authoring “COPD at your fingertips” and “Managing breathlessness in the community”. June’s previous roles include Consultant nurse, leading an award-winning integrated respiratory team and Director of transformation for integrated care. She has also been Associate research fellow at the Department of General Practice, University of Aberdeen, Training for Education for Health and part of the North West regional respiratory team who developed the COPD patient passport.
