| Biography |
Julie joined the NMC in 2021 to advise and support the ongoing review, development and implementation of the education standards and the standards of proficiency for nursing and nursing associates.
Registering as a mental health nurse in 1996 Julie started her career as a Community Nurse. Moving to work full time in higher education in 2003, she has over 20 years of academic experience, with a variety of opportunities in relation to advancing her own learning, teaching and research portfolios.
She has worked to initiate and maintain meaningful relationships that inspire, challenge, and develop innovative health and social care professionals, it’s through these alliances, that we can all reach our unlimited potential.
