Jo works currently a Diabetes Clinical Nurse Specialist and works at Imperial NHS Trust within the Imperial College Renal Transplant Centre at the Hammersmith Hospital in London.
After spending a varied career in both secondary and primary care including a stint within the charity sector she settled in the diabetes field approximately 20 years ago. For the past 10 years she has worked solely within the renal directorate of the Trust which has proved to be both extremely challenging as well as rewarding. This role encompasses both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
Jo was until this year a committee member of the RCN Diabetes Nursing Forum Steering Committee as well as the Diabetes Inpatient Nurse Group.
