Biography

Ann Feloy lost her beloved son Oliver on 14th February, 2017, when he was 22 years old. She founded Olly’s Future – www.ollysfuture.org.uk to spread the love and light Oliver brought into this world and to develop and deliver national suicide prevention initiatives such as Dr SAMS (Suicide Awareness in Medical Students) and Practise Hope primary care initiative to help young people aged 10 – 25 who are thinking of suicide or self-harming.

 

Ann successfully campaigned for a change in the NICE guideline around managing depression.

 

She is a Master ASIST trainer (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) and organises the annual service at St Martin in the Fields, Trafalgar Square, for those affected by suicide.

 

Previously, Ann worked as a journalist, teacher and playwright.
