GP respiratory expert Dr Steve Holmes and respiratory nurse consultant Jane Scullion offer guidance for community nurses on how to understand and manage patient recovery from moderate or severe infection with Covid-19
Learning Objectives
After this module you will:
- better understand the impact of Covid-19 on colleagues (health care professionals and carers) who have been affected;
- appreciate the social and psychological implications of Covid-19;
- be able to describe the normal recovery from Covid-19, as well as some of the more common complications;
- understand the different support required for post-Covid-19 recovery depending on the severity and course of illness.
