Biography | Alice completed her training in adult nursing at the University of Manchester in 2005 and spent 11 years working in North Manchester General Hospital in the infectious diseases department. In 2016, her career changed direction when she took up the opportunity to work at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital while completing 12 months training in paediatric nursing. Since becoming dual trained, she has worked with the Manchester Children’s Community Nursing Team completing her Msc. in Paediatric Advanced Clinical Practice in 2022. She currently leads and works within The Manchester ACT service, a service aimed at reducing avoidable A&E attendances for children. She lives in Manchester with her husband and 2 children aged 12 and 9 and enjoys wild swimming and Italian food. |
