Adele Stewart works as the Diabetic and Research PCN lead for Priory Medical Group in York. She has spent the last 18 years working in primary care both in Northwest London and York; after completing her Diabetic qualifications at Leicester University 2010 and gaining further qualifications in Long-term conditions, clinical assessment and research at Huddersfield University in 2016, she has developed her role as a specialist nurse in diabetes and research. During COVID their team approach to diabetic management had to change, and by utilising the multi-disciplinary team, they managed to adapt our services of reviewing, risk managing /analysis and improving patient care.
